–In a large skillet on medium heat, cook garlic and onion for 2 minutes, add the ground beef and cook until no longer pink; drain. Stir in Spaghetti sauce and heat for 5 minutes. Transfer mixture to a bowl. –In a small bowl, combine cottage cheese, eggs, Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. –Return about 1 cup of the meat and sauce mixture to the skillet; spread evenly. Next ½ cottage cheese mixture, then 1½ cups of the meat sauce, then noodles (breaking them to fit it around the skillet as much as possible). Then layer again, 1 cup of the meat sauce, the other ½ of the cottage cheese mixture, ½ of whats left of the meat sauce, noodles (layered the same as before). Top with the rest of the meat sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover and simmer on low for 15 minutes until noodles are tender. –Turn heat off. Then put the shredded mozzarella cheese on top, cover and let sit until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.

  • * 2 garlic clove, minced
  • * 1 small onion, diced
  • * 2 can jar of spaghetti sauce ( i love hunt's in the can)
  • * 2 cup small cured cottage cheese ( in place of ricotta cheese)
  • * 2 egg, lightly beaten
  • * 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • * 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • * 6-9 oven ready lasagna noodle
  • * 1 cup shredded mozzarella
